The Natview Foundation for Technology Innovation (NFTI) participated in the just concluded 4th edition of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s Geospatial Summit, commonly known as #Geopalooza. This prestigious three-day event gathered a diverse group of experts, implementers, decision-makers, and innovators in the geospatial sector, all united by a shared goal of enhancing global development through geospatial technology.
Geopalooza 4.0 is a unique platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and in-depth discussions on the transformative potential of geospatial approaches. The summit highlights the critical role of geospatial technology in addressing global challenges and driving sustainable development.
A notable highlight of the summit was the participation of Hajia Amina Aliyu Lami, Head of the Project and Technical Coordination Unit of the Kaduna State Bureau of Statistics. Hajia Amina engaged in a thought-provoking panel discussion, where she shared her extensive insights on effective geospatial interventions through strategic policy and coordination. Her emphasis on the importance of collaboration in fostering progress resonated strongly with the audience, underscoring the value of partnerships in achieving impactful geospatial outcomes.
We anticipate that NFTI’s active in Geopalooza 4.0 will provide us with additional opportunities for networking, enriching sessions, and the development of connections that will support our mission. Our objective remains unwavering: to leverage the potential of geospatial technology to facilitate sustainable development and effect social change.
