The GEO-ST4R Project today concluded a two-day Validation Workshop. The workshop honed in on the Environmental Scan, Digital Maturity, and Baseline Assessment, with a key focus on integrating geo-enabled microplanning into existing processes.
Before this workshop, a thorough assessment had been conducted to understand how Kaduna State could implement digitized integrated microplanning at both state and health facility levels. The workshop served as a collaborative platform to share these findings and chart a roadmap for transitioning towards the use of geo-enabled microplanning.
Funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), the four-year Geo-ST4R Project is a joint effort by Pathfinder International, Natview Foundation, GRID3, and Data Science Nigeria. The project is actively transforming healthcare in BMGF focal states of Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, and Lagos.
The workshop brought together a diverse group of participants, including key stakeholders, representatives from consortium partners, and field experts. The discussions centered on showcasing assessment insights and collaboratively establishing criteria for interventions at Primary Health Care Centers across Kaduna State.
