The Natview Foundation for Technology Innovation (NFTI) is thrilled to celebrate a major milestone in the professional journey of one of its own, Nasir Yusuf Ahmad, who has been selected as a Chevening Scholar for the 2025/2026 academic year. He will be pursuing an MSc in Global Public Health with Data Science at the prestigious University of Westminster in London.

This achievement is no small feat. Chevening, the United Kingdom’s flagship global scholarship program, is awarded to individuals with outstanding academic records, leadership qualities, and a vision for creating positive change in their countries. Nasir’s selection is a powerful endorsement of his deep commitment to leveraging data for public good and his tireless drive to improve health outcomes and strengthen governance through evidence-based approaches.

Nasir’s story is one of quiet brilliance, relentless curiosity, and unshakable purpose. He emerged from the third cohort of the Click-On Kaduna Data Science Fellowship Program (DSFP 3.0) and quickly distinguished himself through technical skills, sense of responsibility, and service. As a data analyst at NFTI, he has contributed meaningfully to health system strengthening initiatives through his work on some of our key portfolios in Kaduna and Kano States.

Nasir’s impact reaches beyond the use of data for social good. Within the DSFP Alumni Network, he has been a dedicated community builder, mentoring younger fellows, driving collaborative projects, and demonstrating by example what it means to grow with grace and give back. His humility, professionalism, and work ethic have earned him the respect of peers and mentors alike, and it is no surprise that his journey now takes him to a global stage.

From everyone at NFTI and the broader DSFP community, we say, “Congratulations, Nasir.” Your journey inspires us all.
