For many years, the Natview Foundation for Technology Innovation, NFTI, has provided technology enhancement services for government systems, developed notable interventions and outreach programs in our communities, and enabled other not-for-profit organizations and governmental entities to get more out of their data and fulfill their objective of bettering society and people’s lives. We have stayed true to our vision to use data for social good across Africa and have received a new recognition as a result of the great work we do across Africa.
NFTI is proud to announce that it has received new recognition with the acquisition of a US status known as “Equivalency Determination” (ED) that validates that non-US-based organizations are on par with US-based public charities. In simple terms, this means that we are now certified as equivalent to a US public charity. With our equivalency determination on file in the NGOsource repository, we are looking forward to continuing the amazing work we do around using data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to solve social policy issues in health, education, and agriculture. The ED certification by an NGO is an important step in our growth journey, and we are excited about the new windows of funding opportunities that will provide for the great work we do in Africa.
