The Kaduna Economic and Investment Summit tagged KadInvest 7.0 took place in mid-October and NFTI was proudly represented at the event. The summit was the 7th edition and it was targeted at efforts to build a resilient economy in Kaduna across the state’s priority sectors. The event attracted private sector players, domestic and international investors, policymakers, members of the general public, and civil society to brainstorm and discussion on ways to position and sustain Kaduna State as the number one investment destination in Africa.

The Natview Foundation for Technology Innovation was at the event expo hosted at the Kaduna Centenary Park for the exhibition and presentation sessions. The Programme Officer of NFTI, Miss Fatima Auwal Tafoki, made a presentation at the technology expo where she spoke extensively on the achievements, impact, and contribution of the Click-On Kaduna Programme to the tech ecosystem in the last 4 years.  During her presentation, Miss Tafoki spoke about how the Data Science Fellowship Programme has supported the state in digitizing the 2020 General Household Survey Report, the Integrated Supportive supervision tool currently used in the State Ministry of Health, and how it has contributed to updating fresh pipelines for the Health Facility analytics platform launched by the state in 2020.

She also talked about how 60% of the Click-On Kaduna participants have transitioned to full-time employment, and freelancing opportunities, in and outside of Nigeria.

The NFTI through the Click-On Kaduna Programme has created a launch pad for global success by building local talents in Kaduna who participate in the digital transformation journey for Kaduna and have built a talent pool for the future of work.
