The Executive Director of NFTI, Mr. Nuradeen Maidoki, and the Programme Coordinator, Mrs. Amina Ndaliman attended the end-of-year review with Kaduna’s Primary Health Care (PHC) MoU partners at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House yesterday.
The Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, his Deputy Dr. Hadiza Balarabe, the Hon. Commissioner for Health Dr. Amina Baloni, the Chairman of the Gates Foundation, Bill Gates, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, and other partners from the World Health Organization, WHO, UNICEF, and the Global Fund all participated in the review.

In 2018, the Kaduna State Government, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Dangote Foundation, Global Fund, and other partners signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support the revitalization of the Primary Health Care (PHC) system and improve Routine Immunization in Kaduna State.
In the last 4 years, NFTI as a critical partner has implemented the MoU’s several technological solutions such as the Integrated Supportive Supervision system, the Health Facility Analytics platform, and others.

Principal partners of the MoU praised Kaduna State Government for the milestone achieved in implementing the MoU and strengthening the state’s PHC system while urging the state to sustain efforts towards closing the identified gaps.
