NFTI proudly participated in the recently concluded 3MTT Kaduna State Cohort 2 Impact Summit, a landmark event that showcased the growing potential of the tech ecosystem in Nigeria. The summit brought together a diverse community of tech enthusiasts, professionals, and industry leaders for a day of knowledge sharing, innovation, and celebration, with a special focus on the graduation of the 3MTT Cohort 2 fellows.

The 3MTT Impact Summit provided an exclusive platform for participants to demonstrate the skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities developed throughout their journey in the 3MTT program. With the theme “Tech4Good,” participants pitched impactful solutions addressing critical local challenges in sectors such as agriculture, health, education, and clean energy. These solutions reflected innovation and were tailored to meet the unique needs of their communities.

NFTI was represented by Mrs. Aisha Sani, the Head of Digital Development, who joined a distinguished panel of industry leaders to discuss the theme: “Potential to Powerhouse: Unlocking Northern Nigeria’s Tech Talent for Global Impact.” In her remarks, Mrs. Sani emphasized key pillars for success in the tech industry, including the importance of acquiring relevant skills, building strong professional networks, seizing internship opportunities, and consistently delivering innovation and results.

One of the summit’s highlights was the hackathon competition, where five contestants pitched innovative ideas in fields critical to Kaduna’s development, such as agriculture, education, and health. NFTI demonstrated its commitment to fostering innovation and supporting excellence by awarding the grand prize of ₦500,000 to the hackathon winner.

NFTI is resolute in its determination to bring about major shifts in the tech-for-good space. We are always open to partnerships that empower young innovators to impact their communities.
