The Natview Foundation for Technology Innovation (NFTI) joined the global community on October 20, 2025, to celebrate World Statistics Day under the theme “Quality Statistics and Data for Everyone.”
This year’s observance underscores a universal truth that reliable, inclusive, and transparent data is essential for effective governance and sustainable development. For NFTI, it was an opportunity to highlight its continued commitment to advancing data quality, equity, and accessibility across Nigeria and Africa.
To mark the day, NFTI released a special episode of The Social Good Podcast titled “What Quality Data Really Means for Development,” hosted by Olubunmi Olorunpomi, the head of communications, and featuring Ayobami Iyanda, a statistician and data analyst at NFTI. The episode highlighted the importance of data accuracy and inclusivity in informing better decisions, enhancing accountability, and ensuring that no community is left behind.
NFTI’s initiatives have continued to demonstrate the organization’s practical approach to data for social good.
As the world looks ahead to 2030, the target year for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), NFTI reaffirms its pledge to uphold quality, transparency, and integrity in every system it builds, utilizing data as a tool for promoting equity and inclusive growth.
Happy World Statistics Day 2025 from all of us at NFTI.
