The Natview Foundation for Technology Innovation recently concluded a one-day “Dashboard Introduction and Technical Session on Data Collection, Entry, and Quality for Supply Chain Management (SCM)” workshop, marking another important step in strengthening Kaduna State’s health supply chain systems.
The workshop was held to introduce a newly developed Health Supply Chain Dashboard aimed at supporting real-time, data-driven decision-making across the public health sector.
Developed in response to the need for improved visibility and coordination, the dashboard integrates routine logistics data from platforms such as MSUPPLY, NHLMIS, and other reporting tools. It offers stakeholders instant access to actionable insights on stock availability, order fulfillment, and performance indicators across all levels of the health system. By enabling real-time tracking and analysis, the dashboard helps prevent stock-outs, improves accountability, and enhances planning around health commodity distribution.
The session brought together key officers from the Kaduna State Drug and Supplies Management Agency (KADHSMA). During the workshop, participants received a walkthrough of the dashboard’s Version 1 structure and flow, including its key modules and visual analytics. The session also highlighted the critical importance of data quality in strengthening the health supply chain.
Participants were trained on how to use the digitized reporting templates and were guided on best practices for accurate and timely data entry. Discussions emphasized the role of consistent, high-quality data in ensuring smooth operations, effective stock management, and transparent supply chain performance.
Natview Foundation for Technology Innovation remains committed to supporting Kaduna State’s digital health infrastructure and advancing its long-term vision of improving health outcomes through reliable data systems and innovation.
