In the last 6 months, NFTI has provided 30 fellows of the BMGF funded Click-On Kaduna Data Science Fellowship Programme with the space and resources necessary to get them up to speed on the tools, techniques, and models they will need to learn to get hired as data scientists and hit the ground running in the industry. We are pleased to announce that all 30 fellows have now concluded the fellowship programme.
The 30 fellows who were selected from a total of 6,030 applicants have undergone a 3-month intensive and rigorous in-class training before embarking on another 3 months of practical fieldwork activities.
The DSFP programme was launched under the Click-On Kaduna Human Capital Development initiative through a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation aimed at improving the data culture of Kaduna state in using data to solve human-related policy and governance issues.
