In a monumental stride towards modernizing healthcare management, the Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board (SPHCB) inaugurated the renovated and digitalized Record Office of the Board. This achievement marks a significant step in implementing the Human Resource Health Management Information System (HRHMIS) project.
The HRHMIS is strategically designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of human resource management within the Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board. The system developed by NFTI aims to streamline business processes, align with Public Service Rules (PSR), and introduce a robust system for data-driven decision-making, talent management, employee transfers, leave management, and reporting.
The launch event, attended by Dr. Bello Jamo, the Executive Secretary of the State Primary Health Care Board, some directors of the board, and the NFTI team, showcased the capabilities of the HRHMIS. The NFTI team demonstrated the system, emphasizing its role as a game changer in healthcare management.
Dr. Bello Jamo expressed appreciation for NFTI’s contribution to the renovation of the office and the provision of technological equipment. The renovated and digitalized Record Office signifies a leap toward a more efficient and tech-savvy approach to human resource management in the healthcare sector.
This launch is consistent with Nigeria’s wider initiatives to adopt digital solutions for healthcare management. The HRHMIS project exemplifies the efficacy that can be achieved through the partnership of technology-oriented organizations such as NFTI and public health institutions. As the system enters its operational phase, it is positioned to significantly impact the Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board’s human resource management standards, thereby ultimately enhancing healthcare services for the residents of Kaduna State.
