Kano State Government, KNSPHCMB, and NFTI to Host High-Level Event to Disseminate Findings from Operational Data Diagnostics Assessment
Kano, Nigeria—The Kano State Ministry of Health, Kano State Primary Healthcare Management Board (KNSPHCMB), in partnership with the Natview Foundation for Technology Innovation (NFTI) and key development partners, is set to host a dissemination event at the Bristol Palace Hotel, Farm Centre, Kano, to unveil the findings of the Kano Operational Data Diagnostics Assessment.
The assessment is an initiative designed to strengthen Kano’s healthcare systems by leveraging data-driven insights for policy perspectives. It evaluated key operational areas including Human Resources for Health, Service Availability and Readiness, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Financing, and Data Management. The findings of the assessment represent an important step toward addressing systemic challenges in Kano State’s public healthcare sector, ensuring better resource allocation, improved service delivery, and enhanced health outcomes for millions of residents.
The event, themed “Strengthening the Use and Uptake of Operational Data in Kano State’s Health System“, will bring together senior government officials, healthcare stakeholders, development partners, and media representatives to discuss the findings and explore actionable recommendations.

- Presentation of Findings: An in-depth look at the gaps, challenges, and opportunities identified in the assessment.
- Expert Panel Discussions: Insights from key project partners, including the Director General of the Kano State Primary Health Care Board (KSPHCB), the Permanent Secretary of the Kano Ministry of Health, and the Statistician General of the Kano State Bureau of Statistics.
- Collaborative Action Plans: Dialogues on implementing recommendations to build resilient health systems in Kano State.
