With the goal of improving healthcare management capabilities, the Natview Foundation for Technology Innovation (NFTI) organized a comprehensive two-day training session for mid-level officers of the Kaduna Primary State Healthcare Board (SPHCB). The focus of the training was to equip these officers with the essential skills to efficiently navigate the Human Resource for Health Management Information System (HRHMIS) platform.
Five mid-level managers from the Primary Healthcare Board attended the programme to foster a culture of enhanced data utilization to make informed decisions and deliver health services efficiently. The overarching goal was to impart expertise in the use of the HRH platform, a digital system designed to replace traditional paper records, enabling seamless access to data from any location worldwide.
During the training, NFTI provided comprehensive training on various aspects of the HRHMIS platform. The curriculum covered navigating the dashboard, managing HRH record systems, understanding talent and leave management, and mastering the transfer procedures. The objective was to ensure that mid-level managers acquired a profound understanding of the HRH platform, empowering them to use it effectively in their roles.
The participating officers actively engaged in the sessions, providing valuable feedback and recommendations. The training also shed light on their specific roles concerning human resources and administrative privileges within the HRHMIS platform.
The training improves healthcare management efficiency and complies with international trends by using technology to deliver better services by digitizing and optimizing HR procedures. NFTI is committed to providing healthcare professionals with the necessary digital competencies in the dynamic environment of healthcare management.
