The Natview Foundation for Technology Innovation (NFTI) joined government officials and development partners at the Kaduna State Q2 Development Partners Coordination Meeting, a quarterly engagement designed to strengthen collaboration, improve coordination, and align development interventions across the state. The meeting convened stakeholders from sectors including health, education, agriculture, governance, and other areas of development to review ongoing programmes, share updates, and explore opportunities for stronger partnerships.
The meeting opened with remarks from the Honourable Commissioner of the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission, who emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration between government and development partners. He noted that the quarterly coordination meeting continues to serve as an important platform for promoting transparency, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring that development interventions are aligned with the state’s priorities. He reaffirmed the Kaduna State Government’s commitment to working closely with its partners to deliver impactful and sustainable development outcomes.
In his goodwill message, the Statistician General of Kaduna State underscored the importance of continuous collaboration and information sharing among development partners. He encouraged organizations to openly share their work, lessons learned, and available data, noting that stronger partnerships and evidence sharing are essential for improving planning, avoiding duplication of efforts, and maximizing impact across the state.
The meeting provided an opportunity for development partners to present updates on their activities over the second quarter while introducing new ideas and opportunities for collaboration. It also created space for stakeholders to openly discuss implementation challenges and collectively identify practical approaches to addressing them, reinforcing the shared commitment to delivering more effective development programmes throughout Kaduna State.
Representing NFTI, the Foundation presented an overview of its key achievements during the quarter, highlighting progress made across several strategic initiatives. Updates were shared on the ongoing Longitudinal Study, which continues to generate critical evidence on primary healthcare service delivery across Kaduna State. The Foundation also presented developments on the Health Facility Analytics (HEFA) platform, alongside other interventions focused on strengthening health information systems, improving data quality, and supporting evidence-informed decision-making within the health sector.
NFTI’s presentation reflected the Foundation’s continued commitment to supporting government institutions through innovative, data-driven solutions that improve health systems and inform policy decisions. By sharing its progress and engaging with other partners, the Foundation reaffirmed the importance of collaboration in addressing complex development challenges and ensuring that investments translate into measurable improvements for communities.
